My wife is staying with me in Malaysia. Recently on 07 Sep 09, my wife has given birth to a male baby at Government hospital in Malaysia. What is the status of our child borned in Malaysia

Your child would only be entitled to Malaysian citizenship if either you or your wife were a Malaysian permanent resident or citizen at the time of his birth. If you are just on a work visa your child is an Indian citizen.
