I'm sri lankan!! not an indian or a terrorist. I Want to work in Malaysia?
I put a question asking about advice on working on malaysia . http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071218010444AADmfW9 unfortunately the replies were rather hostile and rude. with the recent disputes and issues with the hindraf and LTTE in malayisa. the malayisan ppl are being hostile towards all indians. thats acceptable. i'm a sri lankan. just because our country is close to indian doesnt mean we are anything like indians. its a common misunderstanding. only thoe who have been to sri lanka will know. by race i'm a malay. meaning my ancestors are from malayisa. i look malaysian and speak malay. sri lanka has been at war with the LTTE for over the past 20 decades. and we hate terrorists just as much. i feel its very unfair to be treated like this just because my country is close to india. i'm a muslim and i'm a malay. i'm not an indian or a terrorist. would like to have your ideas and opinions

How much tax will an expat pay in Malaysia?
Hi, I will be working in Malaysia a few months from now with an salary of 5,000RM. I would like to know how much tax will be deducted from my pay and what are the conditions. Thanks!

It makes no difference if you are an expat or not, The exact amount will depend on various things like the deductions and other claims you may be able to make. You can also look up the tax office website.

Why ship whereas you can buy most vitamins in Malaysia without a prescription unless you are shipping Vitamin B17. Shipping from the state isn't the fastest way. Note: Vitamin B17 is banned in Malaysia.

well, shipping vitamins is ( to an extent) illegal. But, if you have the necessary documents, FedEx or DHL is the most reliable since they deliver right to the doorstep and you can track your packages online
