Malaysia is known for 3 main races, namely Malays, Chinese & Indians. There are lots of Indians here, originally from Malaysia. As for the place, of course Malaysia is a safe place. It's a tropic country & free from any disaster. As for the crimes, I believe crimes are everywhere in the world. Don't worry, as long you can take care yourself, then it's very safe here. the Indian race is one of the three major races in Malaysia. To answer your question ... nowadays nowhere is absolutely safe. If you don't go look for trouble, then it probably won't come to you.
