Go to a bank and request for telegraphic transfer. Best if you can find one with branches in Makaysia and the Philippines. It may cost more, but it's safe. Do not send anything (cash cheques, drafts, etc...) by post or courier...

You can do T/T online if you have an account with CIMB or MAYBANK, it is really simple, you can even set a standing instruction to send a certain amount on a certain date and it will send automatically, every month, twice a month or whatever you like, we are in a digital age dude.
