Your employer has to apply for an employment visa for you - you cannot. If you enter on a tourist visa, you generally have to leave while your employment visa application is pending - IF you can find a job with an employer willing to spend that kind of money on a visa for you. Also note that Malaysia's marketing focus is primarily westward, and you probably do not have the marketing skills, cultural knowledge, etc, to meet most companies' requirements. They want someone who really knows their market(s). And their main markets are not necessarily Pakistan.

Malaysia is known for 3 main races, namely Malays, Chinese & Indians. There are lots of Indians here, originally from Malaysia. As for the place, of course Malaysia is a safe place. It's a tropic country & free from any disaster. As for the crimes, I believe crimes are everywhere in the world. Don't worry, as long you can take care yourself, then it's very safe here. Welcome to Malaysia!

the Indian race is one of the three major races in Malaysia. To answer your question ... nowadays nowhere is absolutely safe. If you don't go look for trouble, then it probably won't come to you.

Of course it's safe! One malaysia! I'm so proud of my country... I love my country...

Each school in Malaysia has a designated International Student Officer. You can ask from him and you can also check the student manual issued by the school. In addition, here's more info. "Working Part-time While Studying in Malaysia All international students studying at public or private higher educational institutions are allowed to work part-time with effect from 15 February 2005. Conditions for part-time work Students are allowed to work part-time for a maximum of 20 hours per week only during semester breaks or holidays of more than 7 days; in Restaurants, Petrol Kiosks, Mini Markets and Hotels as long as the Student Pass remains valid. Students are not permitted to work as a cashier. In addition, in the hotel sector, students are not allowed to work as singer, masseur, musician, GRO and other activities deemed to be immoral. Application to work part-time must be made through the educational institution in which the student is studying. The student needs to be present with the educational institution representative at the Immigration Department when submitting the application".
